Neal Street Productions is one of the UK's most respected production companies, producing film, television and theatre. Set up in 2003 by Sam Mendes, Pippa Harris and Caro Newling, the company celebrated its 10th Anniversary in 2013, as Nicolas Brown was appointed to the Board of Directors.
Neal Street makes diverse, popular, award winning programmes for a variety of broadcasters and networks on both sides of the Atlantic. Current TV series include Call the Midwife for BBC/PBS, one of the UK’s most watched dramas, the multi-award winning Penny Dreadful for Showtime/Sky Atlantic, and the critically acclaimed The Hollow Crown for BBC Two and NBC Universal/WNET.
Films include the Oscar nominated Revolutionary Road, Jarhead, Things We Lost in the Fire and Away We Go. One of the only UK production companies to specialise in theatre as well as film and TV, they currently have two hit musicals playing – Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, which is entering its 3rd year in the West End, and Shrek, which continues its’ sellout UK tour.
