AMSTERDAM, June 25, 2009 – On July 1, IDTV Events & Concepts and The Garage will team up to form a department within IDTV by the name of IDTV Live360. Production company IDTV had previously taken a stake in The Garage (a new successful event organizer) and will now combine it with its own department IDTV Events & Concepts. Now that two complementary outfits will pool their resources, a particularly strong player will emerge in the areas of brand activation, live events and campaigns. IDTV Live360 specializes in activating brands through crossmedia storytelling – especially the synergy-generating combination of events and TV.
The newly created combination is a logical step for both parties and makes good strategic sense. Shula Rijxman, Chief Commercial Officer for IDTV, comments, “IDTV is keen to keep expanding, so that we can achieve our ambitions. We have the in-house expertise relating to many media. That allows us to put together the best, tailor-made campaign for each request coming from customers. And the addition of The Garage forms yet another valuable contribution to our range of specialisms.”

Chris Dijk will be at the helm of IDTV Live360 as Manager, reporting to Shula Rijxman.
